Here He Is, Our 4th of July Baby

Haydn George Chapman was born on the 4th of July at 5:09 am. Even though the fireworks had not yet begun, the day sure started off with a bang. My labor progressed so fast in the end there was no time for drugs and Haydn entered this world like a firecracker; he was a beautiful spectacle of noise accompanied with burning.

At birth, he weighed 6 lbs 3 oz and measured 19.5 inches long. He's smaller but given the chance, he may have weighed more than his brothers at birth. He's been a wonderful baby and his brothers, especially Jaren are very excited to have him join our family. Welcome Haydn, we love you!
