Dallin's Birthday

Dallin turned 4! He happens to share a birthday with a very special holiday:  Earth day.  So we went to the local nursery and planted a few trees in our backyard.  Nope, just kidding. We did however go to the doctor's office that morning due to Dallin waking up crying of ear pain. The day started out kind of rough, but we made up for it later at Fort Fun.  I didn't get a whole lot of pictures since I had three kids to look after in a public place and the pictures I did take were not that great.  My mother-in-law came for Dallin's birthday, so we were able to have lots of fun with her and enjoy watching her play the arcade games. After Fort Fun, we went back to Cheyenne and ate at Texas Roadhouse (I highly recommend kids' birthdays there).  We had the best waiter and he sat Dallin on a saddle and everyone sang to him.  Then he asked Dallin to help sing happy birthday to a lady sitting next to us.  After that was through, he asked Dallin if he wanted to ride the saddle all the way back up to the front.  Dallin was beaming and enjoyed all the special attention.  After dinner, we were all exhausted, but we still had cake and presents to work through.  It's safe to say that Dallin had a great birthday, even if the last bit he was a walking zombie. Here are a few pictures from the day.
A little fun at Fort Fun!
Dallin riding on the birthday saddle. He was one happy little boy!
We had a pirate birthday theme.  The cake was a treasure chest.
He was very pleased with his cake and the ring pop he already helped himself to.
Happy birthday my sweet Dallin!
